Sophie Gazel,
Director and acting teacher
She trained with Patricia Jaïs and she's graduated of the London International School Philipe Gaulier, she also trained during this time with the members of “Complicite Theater” and with John Wright.
Back to France she met Norman Taylor, Paul Andre Sagel (Jacques Lecoq disciple), Tapa Sudana (Peter Brook's actor), Mas Soegeng and formed with with Pablo Contestabile the Theatre Organic company and created the first International training for actors festival in 2001 in France and then in Buenos Aires.
At the same time she followed university theater studies in Caen and Paris (Censier). Since 2001she led workshops in Spain, Argentina and France.
She is director in France and Argentina of various shows who defend the gesture, the picture, the space and the organic words.
Her ultimates creations were : “Où va la lumière quand il fait noir?” Where the light goes when it is dark?, (clown), “Le monte plats” “The dumb waiter” by Harold Pinter, “Music Hall” by Jean Luc Lagarce... Actually she prepares “Kvetch” by Berkoff and a new clown creation coproduced with La Banda company from Barcelona.

Pablo Contestabile
Born in 1976 in Buenos Aires Actor and Musician (Accordion and voice).
He started his training with Guillermo Angelelli in Argentina (Eugenio Barba's disciple) Paul André Sagel, Carlo Boso, Tapa Sudana, Mas Soegeng, Patricia Jaïs, Norman Taylor in France, Philippe Gaulier and the company complicite members in London. He formed with Sophie Gazel the "Theatre Organic" company and each year organizes the International training for actors festival.
He played for several companies in France, Switzerland, and Argentina. As a teacher he dedicates his work to all activities engage in the body and voice research. Actually he is one of the boy (actor and musician) in "Music Hall" by Jean Luc Lagarce directed by Sophie Gazel.

Laurence Guatarbes
Graduated of « les cours Florent » in Paris. She trained with France Rousselle (ENSATT's teacher), Jack Waltzer (Actor Studio), Jean Claude Penchenat (Théâtre du campagnol). She discovered the mask performance with Paul Andre Sagel and the clown with Sophie Gazel and Pablo Contestabile.
She played under the direction of Laurent Salsac in « Le babour » by Félicien Marceau, of Valérie Antonijevich in « Les aveux de la dernière chance » by David Caraty, « Nuits d'amours éphémères » by Paloma Pedrero, « Vanves 14-18 » a colective creation, « La jalousie du barbouillé » by Molière, of Alain Prioul in « L'intervention » by Victor Hugo. She also played for various short films, Films and TV films as "De petites espérances" directed by Alain prioul, "Desillusions" directed by Fodil Chabbi and "La kiné" directed by Aline Isserman. As a singer she is the second voice of the pop rock band "Saint Sébastien" .
As choreographer she worked for "Le grand guignol revient" directed by Elodie Cotin and "Nuits d'amours éphémères" and "L'intervention".

Alfredo Iriarte
He trained in mask performance, mime, clown and puppet theater as well that he worked as scenographer and mask maker. He studied in Argentina, Uruguay and Italy.
He joined the famous Latin America's company "Catalinas Sur" in La Boca (one of the most popular district of Buenos Aires) where he's still working as an actor, director and masks and puppets maker.

Julien Barazer
Graduated of the theater department of "Rennes 2" university, he trained with Pascal Tokatlian, Vincent Voisin, Cédric Gourmelon, François Bon, Pierre Maillet and David Jeanne Comelo "Théâtre des Lucioles" Marta Izquierdo and Philippe Lorenzo "dancers from CCNRB Catherine Diverrès."
In 2001 he founded "Rue du p'tit chaos" company and led during two years a workshop dedicated to the limits in performance. He is the director of "Preparadise" a show inspired by the work of Sade and Fassbinder, performed in Rennes and the International theater festival of Sibiu (Romania.) In 2005 he joined the workshop led by Habib Naghmouchin in his theater "La Boutonnière." Actually he works with Sophie Gazel and Pablo Contestabile on the organization of the different projects of the company "Théâtre Organic" .

ANA FRENKEL:
Dancer she has trained in contemporary dance at the San Martin theater in Buenos Aires. She studied classical dance, lap dance, the Graham method, Cunningham, Nikolais, Limon, Flying Low. She was interested very early in choreographic composition. As a teacher she follows her research in corporeal language developing her own technique since 1989.
She is the co-founder of the group « El Descueve » with Gabriela Barberio, Mayra Bonard, Carlos Casella and Maria Ucedo. She co-realized different choreographies with others members of the company as « Pura Cepa », « Sucio », « Patito Feo » et « Hermosura ». She also realized several choreographic works for theater « Fuerza Bruta », cinema « Mar de amores » and television « Juana y sus hermanas .»

JASON TURNER
is currently a teacher at Jacques Lecoq’s school in Paris where he teaches movement, improvisation and styles of theatre.
After a degree in literature in England (U.E.A.) he studied at Ecole Jacques Lecoq (1991-1993). Since he has worked as alternately an actor and director with various companies in europe, amongst others, Hoipolloi Theatre in England, Be Negre in Spain, In Transit in Switzerland and Plateforme Theatre in France. For the last 10 years he has focused progressively on teaching and after being invited in 2003 to follow the teacher’s training course at Lecoq’s school he was asked to join the team of teachers. He has regularly led workshops for theatre companies and theatre schools, amongst others, at l’Ecole Nationale des Arts du Cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois and at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow and PAM Theatre in Korea.

ANTONIO GIL MARTINEZ lives and works since 1989 between London, Paris and Madrid. As an actor he has worked with many companies and directors in Europe like Peter Brook (“Fragments”, “11&12”), Simon McBurney, Dan Jemmett (“Skake”, “Cinderella”, “The trickster of Seville”), Paul Hunter, Helena Kout-Houson, Alain Mollot, James McDonald, Omar Porras, Luis Blat, Ferran Madico...
He is a longtime colaborator of Theatre de Complicité with whom he toured the world with The Street of Crocodiles, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The Noise of Time and Strange Poetry (L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra). As a director he has co-created in a variety of productions with companies like Theatre de Complicité and La Jacquerie. He has directed several shows like « Kvetch » nominated for the Max Awards of best show in Spain. He also has experience as a Choreographer and Movement Director. He has an extensive experience as a teacher, collaborating regularly with Philippe Gaulier (London-Paris), the London International School of Performing Arts-LISPA, and has lead many workshops internationally and for Theatre de Complicité, Teatro Nacional-La Casa del Teatro de Colombia, The Abbey Theatre (National Theatre Dublin)...

Lilo Baur
Born in Switzerland, Lilo Baur trained at the international school of Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Then she went to England to perform in the Royal National Theater in "L'Orestie" directed by Katie Mitchell and "The Merchant of Venice" directed by Richard Oliver. She joined Simon Mc Burney an ancient student of Jacques Lecoq's school and she performed in different plays all over the world with the "Complicite theater" . She owned for her work in "The three lives" by Lucie Chabrol the Dora Award (Canada) of best actress and the award of best actress from the Manchester Evening News. Then she played for Jack Sheperd and in France in the Avignon Festival for Jean Rocherau. She was Gertrud in "Hamlet" directed by Peter Brook and also participated with him to "Des Beckett".
With "Fish Love" she directed a show inspired by "Les nouvelles" (Tchekhov) composed with seven actors of different nationalities (Greece, Russia, Portugal, Germany...) She is the director of "Une puce à l'oreille" (Barcelona) and "Il reservo et des contes d'hiver" (Athens.) In united states she played during 18 months under the direction of John Flax. She also participated to movies like "Bridget Jones" and "Bleakhouse" by Dickens.

Javier Swedsky
Began is training in Cordoba (Argentina) with Graciela Ferrari (from "Libre Teatro Libre" led by Maria Escudero.) He played in many of her shows. He graduated in 1992 of the cinema department of the Cordoba's National University. From 1993 to 1996 he entered the National School of Puppetry of Charleville Mézières in France. In 2006 he trained as a teaching theater at the University of Paris 3.
As an actor he played with the argentine company « El Periférico de Objetos » from 1999 to 2002, in « Maquina Hamlet » de H. Muller and « Zooedipous » then he became the assistant director for the show « MMB-Monteverdi Método Bélico ».
He is the director and dramaturge of more than a dozen of puppet and object theater performances presented in Europe and Latin America.
He received scholarship Antorchas, Fondo Nacional de las Artes and the Ariel Bufano award in Argentina.
In 2006-2007 he worked for the « Théâtre de l'S'il de Montréal », (Québec, Canada) for the production of the show « Ah la vache! » as writer, director and conceptor (with Marc André Colombe.)
Actually he lives in Buenos Aires (Argentina) where he teaches in different schools and universities.

Claire Heggen
Co-artistic director with Yves Marc of « Théâtre du mouvement » company, founded in 1975. She studied corporeal mime with Etienne Decroux and studied different corporeal techniques and aesthetics (high performance sport, classical and contemporary dance, eutony, kinesiology, body awareness).
Her vision of gesture is a broad concept, incorporating as much the Etienne Decroux heritage as a gesture art where mime practices, drama dance, object theater and a textual theater intersect. For her the gesture is the heart of artistic creation, the gesture give the actor infinite possibilities to express himself on stage.
She teaches in many workshops and international schools in France and abroad. With Yves Marc, the company has created 30 shows on tour in 60 countries. They develop a permanent renewal gesture aesthetic close to the mime, gesture theater, dance and object theater. Actually she's working on her next theatrical creation and plays her solo "Le chemin se fait en marchant" .

Alain Mollot
Born in 1948; Director of "Théâtre de la Jacquerie" in Paris and co-director of "Théâtre Romain Rolland" in Villejuif, Alain Mollot graduated of "L'institut des carrières artistiques" , of "L'université Internationale du théâtre" and of "the international school Jacques Lecoq" where he later became teacher from 1987 to 1999. Since 1994 he is teaching in International Puppet Institute school of Charleville-Mézières.
He began as assistant next to the director Henri Sala at the "Théâtre des puces" . From 1972 he became director. In 1974 he co-founded and led the "Théâtre de la Jacquerie" where he created the biggest part of his director work, more than fifty creations until now.
Since 1982 he wrote and adapted novels and short stories for the stage. He ordered a journalist to interview people living in paris suburbs about theme as "family" , "labor" , "nation" . Those interviews became the principal matter of his creations "Des pères et des hommes" , "Paroles de mères", "Comme frères et soeurs, chiens et chats", "Roman de familles" and in 2006 "La fourmilière".

Habib Naghmouchin
Director and teacher. Graduated in 1984 of The International school Jacques Lecoq. He went to Indonesia to study Topeng (mask theater) and the Nô at the theater academy of Tokyo (Japan.) Back to France he participated to the Shakespeare cycle by Ariane Mnouchkine. He founded "L'Atelier International de l'Acteur" and then "L'Atelier International de Recherches et de Créations Théâtrales" . He directed more than twenty plays in different languages (french, turkish, italian, english.) He worked next to Ludovik Flaszen (co-founders of the Jerzy Grotowski laboratory) and Monica Pagneux. He leads workshops all around the world, in Germany, England, Japan, Italy and Norway.

Marcelo Subiotto
Trained in different acting techniques, clown, music, and corporal and vocal coaching. He is graduated of "el conservatorio de Musica Manuel De Falla" . He worked with Guillermo Angelelli (Actor's training), Cristina Marti and Gabriel Chamé Buendia (Clown). He improved his training with Jan Ferslev "Odin Theatre" , Luis Valenzuela and Mauricio Kartun.

Ana Alvarado
She is the founder and one of the member of the troupe "El Periférico de Objectos" with Emilio Garcia Wehbi and Daniel Veronese. She directed the majority of the troupe performances, the most famous are "Hamlet Machine" by H Muller, "Zooedipous" by Wehbi, Veronese and Alvarado, and "Monteverdi méthode de guerre" by Veronese, Alvarado and Wehbi, a show about Claudio Monteverdi.
She's a member of the puppet troupe "Titireteros del teatro San Martin" one of the most important theater in Buenos Aires. Since 18 years ago she work for this troup as an actress, a director and a writer. She participated to the most popular performances "Le grand cirque" and "La belle et la bête" by Ariel Bufano, "Le pierrot noir" by L. Lugones directed by Adelaida Mangani, "L'enfant de papier" by Ana Alvarado...
As a director and actress within the "Periferico de Objetos" she performed at many festivals, "Festival In" of Avignon (France), Fall Festival Madrid (Spain), World Theater Festival Berlin (Germany), Edinburgh's festival, Cadix, Brussels, Mexico, Bogota, Caracas, Melbourne, New york and Henson Festival...

Jeremy James
Born in Canada in 1969, actor, artist, director and acting teacher. Since 2002, he is a member of the "Théâtre du Soleil" (Ariane Mnouchkine) where he played for the collective creations, "Le dernier Caravanserail" and "Les Éphémères" . His interpretation of Sandra in "Les Éphémères" has been recognized by the audience and the critics. He played in Avignon, Athens, Berlin, Roma, Vienna, Melbourne, New York, Taipei, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.
He trained with Philippe Gaulier, Monika Pagneux and the founders of "Complicite theater" in London, Simon Mc Burney, Marcello Magni and Annabel Arden. Later he dicovered the actor's training in East Europa with Anatoli Vasiliev, Andrei Serban and Gregorz Bral director of the "Teatr Piesn Kozla" in Poland.
Before coming to Paris he worked in London as a director and a teacher in Mountview Academy Theater Arts. He also taught for the Young Vic Theater, the Royal College of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Adel Hakim
Born in 1953 in Caira, writer, actor and director, he lives in Paris since 1972. After his studies of philosophy, mathematics and economy, he trained with Ariane Mnouchkine (Théâtre du Soleil) and John Strasberg (Actor's Studio.)
Since 1992, he is the director of one of the dramatic national centers in Paris, the "Théâtre des quartiers d'Ivry". He is the director of more than forty performances. He directed classical dramas (Eschyle, Sophocle, Euripide, Sénèque, Shakespeare, Racine, Goldoni, Baudelaire, Pirandello...) contemporary dramas (Pasolini, Botho Strauss, Jean Claude Carrière, Tarjei Vesaas, Martin Crimp, Benjamin Galemiri, Roland Fichet, Catherine Anne, Jean Claude Grumberg...) and his own dramas (Exécuteur 14, Corps, La toison d'or, Oum Kalsoum, Après Pasolini politique visions.)

Haim Isaacs (USA / Paris)
Born in 1957 in New York, he studied piano and Lyrical chant. Singer, songwriter and teacher, He has been giving voice and music workshops in France and around the world from over 20 years. Since 1982 he works for the Roy Hart Theater.
His workshops explore the vocal imaginary and tone placement. The vocal training is a complete corporal training (breath, relaxation, postures...) and could lead to rhythmical applications, musical or textual. Now Haim Issacs lives in Paris and performs in Europe, and teaches “Voice” all around the world.

Paola Rizza
Graduated of the international school of Jacques Lecoq in Paris, she trained with Monika Pagneux, Philippe Gaulier, Alain Gautré, Guy Freixe... With some partners she founded the “Felix Culpa” Company and the “Caza house cie”.
She also works with T.P.A.T, le théâtre du Jard, le théâtre san toit and direct theater and circus performances.
Since 1998 she teaches in the international school of Jacques Lecoq and in ENACR.

Mas Soegeng Indonésia
Indonesian actor, director, dancer and plastician, he studied the Indonesian traditional theater TOPENG. He went to Bali to improve his Topeng acknowledgment. He trained with two important Balinese masters Nyoman Pugra (drama) and Wayan Rindi (Dance.) He graduated of the Indonesian National Theater Academy, the High School of Fine Arts and the Cinema Academy of Jakarta.
He played in his country with many troupes and performed in Europe and Iran. In 1975 Mas Soegeng came to live in France, he played for different companies and directors as Peter Brook with who he participated to the movie “Mahabharata”, The Patra company, clin d'oeil company and théâtre du Séraphin.
At the same time he directed workshops about the mask performance in France and abroad : ARTO (Geneva), COMART (Zürich), with the London International Workshop Festival and different AFDAS workshops in France.
He has been a coach for the Ariane Mnouchkine's actors (Théâtre du Soleil), Footsbarn Theater, Teatro del Sole...

Alejandro Catalan
Born in Buenos Aires in 1971, director, actor, teacher and theoretician. All his work is based on the problematic of : the creation by actors.
As an actor he worked with Ricardo Bartis “Le péché qui ne peut pas être nommé” and “La coupe”, with Daniel Verones (Grupo periferico de objetos) “Circonegro” and created with Luis Machinet Omar Fantini “Cercano Oriente”.
He started as a teacher in the “Sportivo teatral” and then created in 1999 his own place to work.
